Rail work is its own discipline. Access is short, standards are absolute and the paperwork matters as much as the installation. Capital M&E is RISQS registered and a CIRAS member, and our rail work is planned and documented the rail way: ITPs, rail-standard RAMS and close call reporting to Network Rail standards.
The team's rail track record runs from London Underground earthing and CMS works through Network Rail and TfL projects — LV AC distribution, signalling power, HV substations — to light rail, where we currently provide Senior Authorised Person (SAP) duties on London Tramlink, including OLE isolations for safe working.
